Name: Tarangire National park originates from Tarangire River which crosses the park and is the source of water for wildlife during the dry season
Area: approximately 2,600 KM square
Landscapes: granitic ridges and swamps
Your schedule: You will depart Moshi in the morning around 6:00am /8:00am from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National park the 6th largest National park in Tanzania with an area of approximately 2,600 square kilometers. The park is famous for its high density of elephants and baobab trees. Common resident animals include Zebra, waterbuck, giraffe, dik-dik, impala, eland, Grant’s gazelle, vervet monkey, banded mongoose, and olive baboon, wildebeests and cape buffalo. Predators in Tarangire include lion, leopard and cheetah. The landscape is composed of granitic ridges, river valley, and swamps. Game drive until late afternoon and Drive to Mto-wa- Mbu for dinner and overnight according to the standard and the type of accommodation requested from our options.
