Lake Mburo National Park is a compact gem, located conveniently close to the highway that connects Kampala to the parks of western Uganda. It is the smallest of Uganda’s savannah national parks and is home to 350 bird species as well as animals such as: zebra, impala, eland, buffalo, oribi, Defassa waterbuck, hippo, and hyena (though a rare sighting), topi plus reedbuck.
Upon arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will be met by a Home To Africa guide/driver who will welcome you to Uganda – the Pearl of Africa. The Guide will also brief you about the safari and thereafter you will hit the road to Lake Mburo NP. Depending on your time of arrival at the airport, you will reach Mburo either in the early afternoon or late afternoon/evening. Check into your accommodation where you will have dinner and overnight stay.
