Our 2 days safari takes you to Tarangire National park, home of elephants and baobab trees. You will have a game drive until evening then drive to Fig tree lodge and campsite for dinner and overnight. One the second day you will have an early breakfast and drive to Ngorongoro crater the Eighth Wonder of the World. Home to over 120 species of mammal including the fabled Big Five, Ngorongoro Conservation Area is one of the most sought after safari destinations in the world.

Name: The Name Tarangire originates from Tarangire river which crosses the park and is the source of water for wildlife during dry season

Your schedule: You will depart Moshi in the morning around 6:00 am/8:00 am from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National park the 6th largest National park in Tanzania with an area of approximately 2,600 square kilometres. The park is famous for its high density of elephants and baobab trees. Common resident animals include Zebra, waterbuck, giraffe, dik-dik, impala, eland, Grant’s gazelle, vervet monkey, banded mongoose, and olive baboon, wildebeests and cape buffalo. Predators in Tarangire include lion, leopard, and cheetah. The landscape is composed of granitic ridges, river valley, and swamps. Game drive until late afternoon and drive to Mto-wa- Mbu for dinner and overnight according to at the standard and the type of accommodation requested from our options.
